Manages three teams based at Newbridge School who provide support services to Mainstream & Special Schools. As Head of Service, Clair completes the initial assessments, manages pupil/ staff caseload and provides extensive training across the L.E.A.

Inclusion Manager - Access Into Mainstream

  • Hazel initiates and supports pupils from Newbridge School with a link placement to a local Mainstream School or college.
  • Hazel provides disability awareness training to staff in Mainstream school to help develop greater Inclusive practice.
  • Hazel delivers an extensive induction programme for AIM staff to ensure staff model excellent Inclusive practice when working in the Mainstream setting.
  • Hazel works with pupils across both Newbridge School sites.

Amarjit previously worked as a Secretary to Head of HR in Redbridge LEA

Prior to this she worked as a Security Training Officer at BAA Heathrow

Amarjit provides administrative support to both SERC and Newbridge teams. Amarjit distributes reports throughout the Borough and maintains the Student Database which incorporates all the students seen by both teams.

Janet began teaching History/ English in mainstream comprehensive schools. For the past 15 yrs Janet has worked in SEN in class and for our Outreach team. Janet has also some time working with excluded pupils and those with medical problems as part of a Home tuition role.

Janet:

  • supports pupils at KS2 and KS3
  • is actively involved in supporting the Transition process for pupils
  • continues to have a passion for History, English and Art.

Patrick began teaching as a Science teacher in Secondary Schools. For many years he has been a class teacher in Newbridge School and working for the Outreach team. Patrick has particular expertise in

  • having a creative approach to learning

Georgia joined us with a very experienced background in Speech and Language and Autism.

Georgia has previously worked for Havering LEA, run an ASD unit and in Bexleyhealth as a SENCO.

Georgia has a full caseload of children she will visit at least termly and she also contributes to our full training programme.

Michael joins us from a very exciting career in the music industry and IT world

Michael provides specialist SEN technical support to Schools, Staff, Parents, Outreach Services in Redbridge LEA.

Alison began her teaching career as a Professional Chef Lecturer at Westminster College.

Since then she has accumulated 17 yrs experience of teaching in Mainstream and mainly SEN Students.

Alison has a particular interest in working with students with;

*     EBD
*     Motor difficulties

*     Complex medical conditions 

Alison is currently undertaking a research PhD in Psychoanalytical Studies based on working therapeutically with SEN students.
