Over many years many students and families have reported excellent outcomes following visits to this centre. However the NHS funding has now ceased, and there is no clear replacement signposted. Some research over the holidays has highlighted increasing evidence that Opticians/ Universities training Optometrists are no longer offering Mearles –Irlen Syndrome /Specific Learning Difficulties Assessments.
We have been advised that if Parents wish to pursue Vision therapy, they should contact BABO http://babo.co.uk/
