The Imagination Tree has some great sensory and creative play activities; including sensory play, discovery boxes, playdough recipes, art and craft activities.
I thought that this was a good way to make the traditional story fully inclusive for those at a sensory level.
Take time to explore the different playdough recipes - I like the sound of herb dough, black sparkle, lavender dough, and the Willy Wonka multi coloured dough.
Discovery boxes are designed for very young children to explore, however they are great for ideas for sensory boxes for older children - some great photos on the site to help you make your own sensory baskets.
