What is the rate of occurance of ACC?
There is currently some controversy over the statistics.
In 2008 in the USA found that 1.8 per 10,000 babies were effected.
The incidence of ACC effecting boys and girls is roughly equal, although the underlying cause may be different.
Callosum abnormalities are more common in children who have learning and developmental difficulties.
